The 2008 Career Forum will set a new space dedicated to careers: the CAREER CORNER


If you are a student ( high school, university) or a young professional, no doubt that you'll find useful information to prepare or develop your professional life.

Located in the Conference hall, the Career Corner invites you to experience a three-step discovery tour:

First Step: Know more yourself
 Get a free ability and behavior test to discover which career fits you best.
 If you get to know yourself better, you will be able to choose the career that best matches your qualifications and expectations.

Second Step: Know more about career profiles
According to your test results, you will be guided to one of the booths introducing four carees widely available in Cambodia:

  • sales and marketing,
  • financial,
  • industial,
  • IT.
To discover these careers and the jobs they offer, each booth will display:
  • Job description
  • Video presentation
  • Contributions from professionals and alumni
  • Explanations by education institutions on which academic path best prepares to this career.

Third Step: Challenge yourself
Now you know which career fits you best: get ready to challenge yourself!
  • Register for a simulated job interview (filmed) with HR professional and get a feedback on your performance.
  • Come to write or edit your resume at the CV Writing Workshop(French, English and Khmer) with the advice of DEF team (French-Speaking Employment Department)
  • Meet a psychologist to identify your strengths and weakness ...
Tips
The Career Corner is another opportunity to experiment professional behavior. So prepare yourself, dress appropriately and bring along your CV!
